Blended Finance for regional revitalization and local community development

The Tohoku Social Investment Readiness Program

The Tohoku social investment readiness program is an innovative finance program designed to create original funding templates for community development finance in Japan. The program combines investment readiness capacity building with access to finance to early-stage social enterprises in Tohoku. By blending public, private and philanthropic capital in a single investment program we help create innovative partnership framework between the public, private and social sectors.

From social impact bond structuring to SDG corporate bond issuance, we work with companies to amplify the impact of their CSR and sustainability initiatives through innovative finance instruments, with cities to support their social innovation programs and other intermediaries to bring them the social finance expertise they need.
